Ira A Fulton Engineering
Experienced Software Developer with a proven track record in the industry. Currently immersed in the startup ecosystem and aspiring to be a serial entrepreneur. With nearly two decades of software development experience, I’ve delved into everything from low-level assembly to the loftiest abstractions. As a side project during my university days, I even reverse-engineered Scratch, an educational programming language developed by MIT. Reading code is second nature to me, and I approach codebase development with a security-focused mindset, always seeking out logically sound solutions.
I am currently nearing completion of my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. My plan is to synergize my software and hardware expertise to create innovative and valuable solutions. These solutions will span a wide range, from household appliances to custom-designed application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), field-programmable gate array (FPGA) solutions, and comprehensive software packages and services. My focus will be on tailoring these solutions to address the unique needs of various sectors, including electrical engineering, construction, medical applications, neural networks/machine learning, and real estate.
While my passion lies in technology, deeply technical analysis (especially mathematics), and all things digital... I find solace in working with my hands during my spare time. Outdoor hikes provide the perfect complementary break, allowing me to recharge and prevent burnout. My extensive collection of tools equips me to tackle nearly any remodeling task, and I thoroughly enjoy renovating old buildings and houses—it’s both a creative outlet and a great way to stay physically active. Interestingly, I’ve seamlessly transferred many of my electrical engineering skills to this hands-on domain. Additionally, I’ve delved into advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) and schematic design and modeling using engineering software like Revit and AutoCAD Electrical.
