Christina Meneses (she/her) is a Graduate Teaching Associate and Research Assistant with the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. She is a passionate instructor and finds inspiration being in the classroom. Her interdisciplinary interests in health, science, communication, and advocacy have led her to pursue studies in health communication and organizational learning. Christina's work broadly encompasses stigma, advocacy, medical ethics, healthcare teams, chronic illness/pain, and the intersections among these areas.
As a mixed methods researcher, she integrates qualitative and quantitative methodologies to explore her research questions. Christina's applied research aims to enhance patient and organizational outcomes through health communication, identifying and implementing effective strategies for meaningful change in medical care.
