Katelyn Reinhart is a media relations officer for Arizona State University, where she connects external media with engaging and impactful storytelling opportunities from one of the largest universities in the United States.
Dedicated to sharing impactful stories that connect with audiences, Katelyn started her writing career as a high school student freelancing for hyperlocal news outlets. She graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications in 2020 and worked both in freelance writing and as a reporter until she joined ASU in 2022. Before transitioning to the media relations team at ASU, Katelyn acted as the primary news writer for ASU's Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory. In this role, she wrote about research, sustainability and overall planetary health outcomes in stories that were amplified by ABOR, ASU News, United Nations newsletters and other publications around the world. Katelyn also acted as the editor-in-chief of the Global Futures magazine product, Futurecast, and co-produced the inaugural ASU Sustainability Impact Review in 2024. This review is a collaborative effort between academics, operations and research that provides a comprehensive look at ASU's overall sustainability progress.
