Joelle Park is the Graduate Program Coordinator in the ASU School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences (start date 10/23/17). She is a student retention expert, with over 20 years of experience working in higher education, developing and implementing programs to engage student populations and build a desirable campus culture. She is passionate about providing the best possible student experience and driving student success.
Assists graduate students in the creation of and changes to their Program of Study (iPOS).
Maintains records in a graduate database.
Communicates with graduate students on program updates, admissions, and TA/RA offer letters.
Serves as a liaison to the outside community about the graduate programs.
Provides overrides and overloads for graduate students who qualify.
Collaborates with the undergraduate advising office to assist Accelerated Program (4+1) students through degree completion.
Processes administrative actions with faculty members such as grade changes and other end of term processing activities.
Assists graduate students with getting connected to university resources.
Utilizes a variety of university data and programmatic direction to promote student academic success.
Provides academic information on graduate programs and certificates offered by the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences.
All other duties as assigned related to student services in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences.
