Lorana is a Director, Supply Chain Sourcing under the University Business Services. Her position oversees a team focused on supporting the scientific/research community, enterprise wide fleet and university travel sourcing. During Lorana's eight years at ASU's Supply Chain, she has worked with sourcing as a senior contracts specialist, a Purchasing Manager; transferred internally to operations as the Inventory Manager, and Assistant Director leading the extended campuses receiving/shipping, gas services, and the chemical receiving; and returning to the sourcing side as a Director.
Prior to ASU, Lorana worked 20 years in a leadership position at Washington State Center for Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss. She led several state-wide competitive procurements resulting in contracts for goods and services. Lorana was instrumental in awarding the first ip telephony system in the country designed for the Deaf as a primary user and hearing as secondary.
Lorana's career in supply and logistics started at DynCorp as military base operations contractor at the National Training Center for the US Army at Fort Irwin, California and Fallon Naval Air Station (home of TOPGUN) in Nevada.
