Ekkarat Ruanglertsilp is a Faculty Associate for the Department of English at Arizona State University. He holds a doctoral degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from ASU. Ekkarat also obtained his Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) in 2018. He has experience in teaching ESL/EFL in an Intensive English Program across six levels of language proficiency as well as in facilitating English language learners with their cultural and academic adjustment in the United States. His research engages with socio-cultural linguistics, discourse analysis, and language and gender, sexuality, and identity.
