Long Bio
Mansi Padave is an Astrophysics Ph.D. Candidate at the School of Earth and Space Exploration, Arizona State University. She earned her bachelor's degree in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, India in 2015, and M.S in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Pondicherry University, India in 2017.
She is interested in star formation, and galaxy evolution. Her current research focuses on understanding the physics ofstar formation in the outer disks of nearby galaxies. She uses UV, optical, H-alpha, and IR photometry to investigate the growth of galaxy disks via star formation and its connection to gas kinematics.
