Alexa Bailey is an instructor in the School of Social Work. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at ASU, with a focus of Direct Practice in Behavioral Health, after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Northern Arizona University. Alexa strives to stay curious and on the cutting edge of research and evidence-based practice, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona. Alexa has experience providing intensive therapy services in residential treatment, private practice, community-based care, and non-profit organizations, and specializes within treatment of complex trauma for teens and adults, specifically working with women’s issues and experiences. She has experience in utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities across the spectrum and is passionate about person centered care. Alexa believes in fostering empowerment and healing through deep compassion and intentional, evidence-based approaches, and that personal growth aids in developing a more cohesive and connected community.
