Long Bio

Arvinder Sandhu is the director of CXFEL labs and a professor in the Department of Physics. His research spans the fields of attosecond science, ultrafast x-ray imaging and spectroscopy, atomic, molecular, and optical physics, material science, nano physics, high intensity laser plasma physics and quantum science. He has played a leading role in the development and application of attosecond XUV and x-ray techniques for real-time probing of ultrafast electron dynamics in molecules and nanomaterials, and in the implementation of quantum control schemes.
