Peiyao Li is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Community Resource and Development. Her research focuses on the engagement of nonprofit organizations in emergency management and prosocial behavior in both western and nonwestern countries. Peiyao Li has published her work in academic journals and presented papers at national and international conferences, including Association of Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) conference, International Society for Third Sector Research (ISTR) conference, Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) conference, and West Coast Nonprofit Data Conference. She serves the community by being a reviewer of journals, such as Voluntary Sector Review, a contributing editor of the ISTR PhD Alumni Newsletter, and a coordinator for mentorship programs in the school.
