Patty Barnhart has worked in the corrections field for over 30 years. She began her career as a Correctional Officer and worked her way up from there to run prisons in three states, Michigan, Maine and Florida as well as having worked in community corrections both as a probation and a parole officer. Her passion for re-entry work brought her to Arizona where she wrapped up her career running the Maricopa Re-Entry Center for the Arizona Department of Corrections. She is a mother, grandmother, and enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, and reading a good book when she is not spending time with her family. Patty completed her MPA at Florida State University
