Fernando Murphy is a Resource Manager and Budget Analyst for the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, with over five years of financial management experience in both military and state government operations. He currently serves in the United States Army as a Sergeant (E-5) Financial Management Technician (36B), where he has supported several critical missions, including the Southwest Border Mission (2019–2021), the COVID-19 Response Mission (2021–2022), a deployment to Kuwait (2022–2023).
Fernando earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Grand Canyon University, graduating summa cum laude and earning membership in Alpha Chi Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Management at Arizona State University.
In addition to his military and government service, Fernando is the owner and operator of EliteWash Powerwashing, an Arizona-based business offering residential and commercial pressure washing services. His background reflects strong leadership, adaptability, and a deep commitment to both public service and entrepreneurship.
