Long Bio
Yunro Chung, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Arizona State University (ASU), with joint appointments in the College of Health Solutions and the Biodesign Center for Personalized Diagnostics. He has served on the ASU faculty since 2018.
Dr. Chung’s research focuses on developing novel statistical and computational methods for analyzing complex, large-scale data involving censoring, truncation, and missingness. His expertise includes survival analysis, isotonic regression, design and analysis of biomarker studies, and machine learning, with applications in biomedical research, particularly cancer and early detection studies.
