Jessica Wu is the Project Manager for the University Design Institute’s Design Accelerator. In this role, she manages a multi-month, hybrid delivery program for executive-level audiences. She works closely with project leaders and design experts to ensure a positive learning experience for participants as they advance ideas that support regional stewardship and social transformation.
Her higher education works spans both the US and Canada in the areas of project coordination, grant management, event management, and student support.
At Arizona State University, Jessica previously worked at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, managing a National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) program for graduate students. She also served as a Student Services Coordinator Sr. at the W. P. Carey School of Business, where she was responsible for student engagement, recruitment, and retention. She managed undergraduate degree and certificate programs in information systems and data analytics, in addition to STEM outreach projects.
Jessica has also worked at the provincial, regional, and municipal levels of government in Ontario, Canada, with various responsibilities including education and outreach, communications, records management, and election planning.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Service from the University of Waterloo and a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Law & Society) from the University of British Columbia.
