Art Hernandez serves as an Enterprise Technology Deskside Support Supervisor within Enterprise Technology at Arizona State University. In this role, he oversees deskside support operations to ensure students, faculty, and staff receive timely, high-quality technical support throughout their ASU experience.
Art joined ASU in 2018 and brings more than 15 years of experience in Service Desk and Help Desk leadership. Before ASU, he held management roles supporting complex technology environments at organizations including AAA NCNU and Apple. He also spent four years at Insight Direct, where he supported enterprise clients through contracted engagements, including Biogen Pharmaceuticals, Dole Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, and L’Oréal.
Art is deeply committed to delivering reliable, customer-focused IT services and takes pride in developing teams that are accountable, responsive, and aligned with organizational standards. He emphasizes continuous improvement, strong partnerships, and a service mindset across all support functions.
Originally from Mesa, Arizona, Art is proud to work at ASU. One of his daughters is currently an ASU student, and his other daughter is actively considering attending the university, further strengthening his personal connection to the institution.
