Dr. Reiman is internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to the fields of brain imaging, behavioral neuroscience and Alzheimer's disease research. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications and the recipient of research grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Alzheimer's Association, other foundations and the state of Arizona. He is Director of the National Institute on Aging's Arizona Alzheimer's Disease Core Center and the principal investigator of a National Institute of Mental Health-sponsored longitudinal brain imaging study of healthy persons at three levels of genetic risk for Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, Reiman serves as Clinical Director of the Neurogenomics Division at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), Professor and Associate Head of Psychiatry at The University of Arizona and Director of the Arizona Alzheimer's Disease Consortium, which involves eight of the state's leading biomedical research institutions. Active in the community, Reiman is a past board member of the Alzheimer's Association Greater Phoenix (now Desert Southwest) Chapter and a current board member of the Flinn Foundation.
