Dr. Kanchana Chandrakanthan is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Molecular Sciences. Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr. Chandrakanthan is a graduate chemist from the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon and holds a Bachelor of Science Special degree in Chemistry from University of Colombo. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2024 with a Ph.D. in Chemistry.
Before joining the faculty at ASU as an Assistant Teaching Professor, Dr. Chandrakanthan was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Herckes/Fraser Lab in the School of Molecular Sciences.
