Halle B. Aquino is a first-generation, accelerated Master of Public Administration student at ASU, expecting to graduate in May 2023. In May 2022, she graduated with dual undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Public Service & Policy, finishing her studies within three years while achieving a 4.0 GPA. She aspires to devote her career to serving communities and advocating for greater inclusion, transparency, and accountability in the world's governing institutions.
Halle's studies have motivated her to advance as a trustworthy and knowledgeable leader in government. Throughout her academic career, she has navigated research on pressing issues, such as disinformation and misinformation on social media, COVID-19 management failures, and political polarization in the United States. Having learned how to foster and encourage environments based on creative and innovative thought in the classroom, she has confidently carried this knowledge into her career, manifesting in her ability to empower others to act on their entrepreneurial aspirations to define the next era of policymaking and administration.
Outside the classroom and workplace, some of Halle's personal interests are music, dancing, and getting involved in her community.
