Adam Pierno is the Managing Director of Brand Strategy. In his role as a leader on the Brand Strategy and Management team, Pierno is responsible for creating programs to improve perceptions and affinity for the ASU brand and tracking the performance of the brand. He joined ASU in December 2018.
Pierno joins the Hub following a career at ad agencies in Atlanta, Boston, New York, and Arizona where he served brands such as Bona AG, Delta Airlines, Domino's Pizza, Dunkin', Trident and Verizon. Pierno started his career on the creative side, holding art and creative direction roles in agencies in New York, Boston, Atlanta and Phoenix.
Pierno lives in Scottsdale with his wife, two children and very spoiled dog. He is an alumnus of Boston University, receiving his BS in Advertising in 1997. Pierno is the author of two books on marketing strategy and brand building. 'Under Think It' is taught by major ad agencies and at universities. 'Specific' outlines an approach for branding that goes beyond paid media.
