Jonathan Roll is a program manager and analyst with Arizona State University’s NewSpace initiative and serves as a project coordinator for the Instrument & Mission Development Laboratory (IMDL). His work focuses on advancing partnerships between academia, industry, and government to support space technology development and mission execution.
He is the lead author of the Commercial Space Federation’s Redshift report, analyzing China’s commercial and civil space enterprise and its implications for U.S. industry. Jonathan also serves as Co-Chair of the Arizona Technology Council’s Aerospace, Aviation, Space & Defense Committee and as President of the Space Force Association’s Arizona Chapter, where he works to strengthen Arizona’s role in the national space ecosystem.
An optimist for the future, he is focused on building high-impact collaborations that accelerate innovation across the space sector.
