Olivia Herneddo

Olivia Herneddo is Lead Experience Designer for Enterprise Technology Affairs & Engagements at Arizona State University, where she co-designs challenge-based learning experiences that unite diverse disciplines and prompt human creativity to leverage proven and emerging technologies in solving real-world and future-focused problems. She has produced high-impact hackathons, idea jams, and immersive engagements for ASU’s academic units—including W. P. Carey School of Business and the Global Futures Laboratory—as well as for partners such as OpenAI, TIAA, Verizon, and Zoom. Since 2023, she has served as a Specialist Advisor to QS ImpACT, co-founding the QS ImpACT Skills Challenge and leading its design and global delivery to over 500 participants worldwide.

An interdisciplinary artist whose imagination lives at the intersection of creative technology and performance, Olivia’s portfolio spans global hackathons, immersive theatre, and interactive installations. In 2022, she directed, produced, designed, and performed in Hello, World!, an immersive performance for very young audiences featuring 360° projection and VR scenic design, which premiered at the i.d.e.a. Museum in Mesa, AZ, before an excerpt was showcased at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NY. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Digital Media & Performance from ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, a BFA in Expanded Media from the University of Kansas School of the Arts, and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Baker University. A proud alumna of the ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Program, Olivia is certified in Kennedy Center arts integration methods. Her creative portfolio is available at www.xonoh.com.
