As a Program Manager on the Next Education Workforce team, Sandy works in collaboration with PK-12 school partners as they build teams of educators who together provide deeper and personalized learning for all students. Prior to working at ASU, Sandy served as a school principal, an assistant principal, instructional coach, and classroom teacher serving the South Phoenix community. In 2020, Sandy worked with the Next Education Workforce to launch teams during Covid. In 2021 when the school returned to in person learning, a school wide model of teaming launched.
