Meghan Gibson serves as the Director of Global Operations for the Office of Global Outreach and Extended Education (GOEE) in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Her career has been grounded in Higher Education leadership and global impact, spanning a number of activities such as implementing risk management education and leadership trainings, executing professional program portfolios for ASU online and industry partners, and advancing global business development opportunities through close collaboration with government, industry, and university leadership. Mrs. Gibson has led multi-year, sponsored projects in STEM education throughout Southeast Asia, including Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), the Mekong-U.S. Partnership Young Scientist Program, and currently the USAID Higher Education Partnership Initiative (HEPI). These projects contribute to the continued emphasis on educational opportunities in STEM and the value of university-industry-government national partnerships to enhance workforce development. Mrs. Gibson oversees global operations for the department, which includes the ASU representative offices in Jakarta, Indonesia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication and History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master of Applied Leadership and Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
