Ben attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Economics and Business. After graduating, he worked in the corporate world for a year in program management until deciding to pursue his Hollywood ambitions. He applied and was accepted into Loyola Marymount University’s MFA Screenwriting program. Three years later, he finished his MFA as the “Outstanding Graduate” of the program in 2018. In 2020, he was awarded a fellowship in the 2020 Film Independent Screenwriting Lab.
Ben has been commissioned by Director/Producer Joel Novoa to co-write the independent drama, MIJO/SON. The following year Ben wrote his second commissioned feature, a techno thriller feature, CRYPTO KINGS, for Crypto Kings LLC. He has pitched projects to different studios and production companies. He is currently repped by Lighthouse Management & Media and CAA.
He was worked at ASU since 2019 in Herberger and the Sidney Poitier New American Film School.
