Long Bio
Audrey Garcia is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University, with an anticipated Ed.D. in Leadership and Innovation in 2027. She holds a Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Garcia teaches a range of courses and supervises student teaching placements. She has contributed to course curriculum development and revisions and actively participates in faculty mentorship initiatives.
Garcia’s leadership within academia extends to her role as a faculty representative in school partnerships, collaborating with school districts to enhance and recruit for program pathways. She has presented nationally on addressing teacher shortages through rural community engagement. Additionally, her research focuses on mentorship supports for nontraditional preservice teachers, particularly those in rural communities, aligning her scholarly work with her commitment to community-centered education.
