In December 2023, she finished her Bachelor's degree in sustainability with a certificate in Sustainable Food Systems. Elora is actively interested in and engaged with all aspects of food systems, from food production to food waste. Currently, she works full-time at the ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems, contributing to research and data analysis on urban and organic agriculture. She is also a Graduate Representative for the MSUS and Communications Chair for Slow Food Phoenix. Elora wants to pursue a career where she can contribute to the sustainable transformation of food systems.
Fun fact about Elora: she participated in 4-H growing up from ages 8-14. In 8th grade, she showed chickens at a county fair and won reserve (2nd place). They gave her a big shiny belt buckle with a chicken on it. At the same fair, she also won a rocket contest.
