Wendy Ruiz Xicale

Wendy Ruiz is a rising Junior at Arizona State University. She is an undergraduate student in the W.P Carey School of Business and in Barrett, the Honors College. Wendy is majoring in Business Management with a minor in Political Science. As an undergraduate, Wendy has been doing research with the Thriving Relationships Lab. She has been working on a photovoice project that gathers highschool students to take photos that represent issues that occur in the community, and have in-depth conversations about the photos. She has also been working at the Design Studio for Community Solutions where she works with local stakeholders to find ways to solve issues, and find resources for communities. Wendy is currently a Project Manager in the Office of University Affairs. Wendy is also part of Latina sorority called Kappa Delta Chi, that is academic and service based. Wendy wants to get an MBA, create a nonprofit/or business, and also work in policy/legislation at the local and federal level.
