Long Bio
Elizabeth currently works as a communications specialist at the ASU Alumni Association, where she helps engage a network of over 650,000 ASU alumni through strategic communication and marketing materials. She graduated from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication, specializing in public relations.
During her final semester, Elizabeth worked as part of the PR team at the Cronkite Agency, a hands-on program that allows students to collaborate with real clients in an agency setting. In addition, she served as the team supervisor at the Cronkite Equipment Lab, where she managed broadcast equipment and acted as a point of contact for her peers.
Elizabeth was the student intern coordinator for Arizona Horizon, the Arizona PBS public affairs show, where she oversaw intern scheduling and training. She interned with Arizona Horizon in Fall 2022, editing daily videos, writing scripts for newscasts and contributing articles to the website. She also served as a publicity intern at SparkPoint Studio in Fall 2023, where she drafted press releases, organized media lists and created photo collages for multiple clients.
Throughout her time at ASU, Elizabeth honed her research and writing skills through several strategic communications courses. She also completed a variety of videography courses, establishing herself as a versatile multimedia strategist.
