Long Bio
Lilianna Spafford is the outreach coordinator in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) at ASU, where she also pursues a Master’s degree in Psychology online through the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at ASU.
In this role, Lilianna is responsible for supporting student engagement initiatives within the college, helping to connect both current and prospective students with meaningful educational opportunities. She plays a key role in introducing K–12 students to CISA and ASU’s diverse academic pathways through innovative, hands-on programming. Lilianna also coordinates CISA’s summer program, Healthcare Discovery Camp, for emerging high school students, offering an early glimpse into university life, health careers, and STEM degree options. Her work fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lasting interest in higher education and healthcare fields. With a background in elementary education and childcare, Lilianna combines her prior experience and love of learning to provide future students with opportunities to foster their own love of learning.
Raised a Sun Devil for life, Lilianna is both an ASU and CISA alumna. Lilianna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in organizational leadership and communication. Having completed two internships and a study abroad program while an undergraduate at ASU, she incorporates her university experiences and knowledge every day in her role as outreach coordinator. She has also completed a graduate certificate in Digital Audience Strategy through the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. As a current graduate student in psychology, she continues to foster her love for learning with the goal of becoming a tenure-track professor in the future at ASU.
