Daniel Turano

Daniel (Danny) Turano serves as the Director of Recruitment Events and Campus Visits at Arizona State University, where he leads the strategic planning, execution, and assessment of student-facing engagement initiatives designed to support university enrollment goals. With a passion for access and student success, he oversees a team responsible for delivering inclusive, informative, and dynamic experiences for prospective students and their families across all ASU campuses. 

Danny brings over a decade of experience in higher education, with a focus on student recruitment, event management, and campus visit programming. His leadership is rooted in data-informed practices, collaborative partnerships, and a deep commitment to expanding pathways to higher education. He has played a pivotal role in developing scalable visit models and fostering innovative recruitment strategies that reflect ASU’s charter and mission. 

Originally from a Northwest Suburb of Chicago, Illinois, Danny made the big move out to sunny Arizona back in 2019. During his free time you can catch Danny spending time with his wife, daughter and puppy or rewatching all of the Harry Potter movies.
