Candace Hamana is Director of Tribal Relations in Arizona State University's Office of Government and Community Engagement, where she leads strategic engagement with Tribal Nations and advises university leadership on Indigenous affairs, tribal sovereignty, and government-to-government partnerships. A member of the Hopi Tribe, her career spans tribal government, public affairs, health communications, water policy, and state government relations. She is committed to building meaningful partnerships that advance Indigenous leadership and strengthen outcomes for Tribal Nations and Native communities.
