Lindsey Brown is a doctoral student and education researcher studying Education Policy and Evaluation at Arizona State University. He is a methodological pragmatist whose research focuses on the effects of language policies on emergent bilingual student populations. Before beginning his doctoral studies, Lindsey was an educator who taught social studies for two years in the Dominican Republic and four years at a public school in rural Indiana. He taught English to immigrants at a non-profit adult education program for two years and was a professional development facilitator for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. He currently lives in Chandler, Arizona, with his wife and two incredible daughters.
