Long Bio
Ryan's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Crew Chief/EMT | Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter from November 2012 to November 2016. In this role, he led a high-performance crew in suppressing and controlling fires during rescue operations. His responsibilities included responding to medical situations, conducting decontamination operations, and participating in reconnaissance and surveillance to prevent injury and loss of life. Notably, Ryan deployed to Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, from April 2013 to February 2014, showcasing his dedication and bravery in challenging environments.
Ryan's commitment to safety continued after his time in the military as a Firefighter/EMT with DynCorp International from 2017 to 2021. He worked with military base Kwajalein Atoll to maintain OSHA regulations, conduct building examinations, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance safety. During a nine-month assignment to Meck Island, he supported the Strategic Missile Defense Initiative, executing search, rescue, and firefighting operations while specializing in missile safety.
Ryan returned home in October 2021 where he served as a Firefighter/EMT with Code-4 Emergency Services. He provided expert information on fire codes, managed a high-performance team, and oversaw safety measures at concert venues and sporting events including top racing events such as Formula 1, MOTO-GP, and NASCAR.
Ryan's commitment to leadership is evident in his attendance at the Naval Leadership Academy. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America, demonstrating his dedication to service and community. Additionally, he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps, marking the completion of a distinguished military career.

Education
Ryan's academic achievements include graduating from the Louis F. Garland Fire Academy in 2013, earning a Bachelor's degree in Public Service and Public Policy (Emergency Management and Homeland Security) from Arizona State University's Barrett-The Honors College in Spring 2023 (Magna Cum Laude), and pursuing a Master of Arts in Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Arizona State University (expected completion in Fall 2024, With Distinction).
