Long Bio
Tanner Caterina-Knorr is a first year PhD student at the School of Community Resources and Development, concentrating in Sustainable Tourism. He is working as a Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Sustainable Tourism at ASU. Tanner holds a Bachelor’s in Archaeology and a Master’s in Administrative Studies, concentrating in Economic Development and Tourism Management from Boston University. Tanner is the Owner & Founder of Off Season Adventures, President of Second Look Worldwide, Communications Manager for EplerWood International, Treasurer of Impact Travel Alliance, and was a Teaching Assistant at Harvard Extension. His research interests include sustainable destination management, overtourism, community development through tourism, ecotourism, and connecting concepts of sustainable tourism development to a variety of different industries.
