Long Bio
Professor Garofalo’s research interests in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences are in theoretical mathematics, with special emphasis in analysis and geometry. He has authored (and coauthored) more than 150 papers, and held faculty positions at the University of Padova, University of Bologna, Northwestern University and Purdue University. Garofalo’s work has been funded uninterruptedly by the National Science Foundation for 23 years, by the University of Padova and by the Italian Ministry of Scientific Research.
