Mario is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the marketing and communications strategy for ASU's Knowledge Enterprise. He collaborates with peers, researchers and leadership to serve as “lead architect” of integrated brand development plans, marketing communications strategies and annual plans.
His experience includes building innovative products, processes, programs and high impact organizations for public and private companies including Apple, Avnet, HP, Toshiba and several startups. Mario served as the Chief Marketing officer at Valley Metro, a public transportation company comprised of 16 cities, towns and public agencies providing service to 250,000 customers per day. He worked with local municipalities and agencies to deliver commuting alternatives for the general public.
