Tom Nunan (he/him) is an instructional professional in the Educational Media Innovation Studio at Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning and Innovation. He served as a Teaching Assistant for several Poetry in America courses at ASU and Harvard Extension School before becoming an Instructor of Record at ASU. He earned an MA and began a dissertation in American & New England Studies at Boston University, where he explored U.S. religion and literature in the colonial period and nineteenth century. At BU, he served as a teaching fellow in History, and as a graduate writing fellow in both the undergraduate Writing and Core programs. Previously, he earned a BA in American History & Literature from Harvard College, where some of his class discussions led by Professor New were filmed for early Poetry in America modules.
