Eric Heimbecker serves as Assistant Director at the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute where he catalyzes the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems by facilitating and strengthening connections between entrepreneurs and the resources needed to start and grow innovative ventures. He firmly believes that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for inclusive and sustainable global development.
Eric is a certified Entrepreneurship Development Professional (EDP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) who has gained experience in the USA, Germany, China and Thailand working with diverse communities, local and federal government, consumer products companies, consulting firms, and universities.
As an MS (2010) and MBA (2012) graduate from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Eric has cultivated expertise in global development strategies grounded in high technology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark (2008).
