Yingyan Huang is a fifth-year PhD student in Nursing and Health Innovation and a Doctor of Nursing Practice-Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Student at the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, Arizona State University. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Previously, she served as a graduate research assistant, working closely with individuals affected by mild cognitive impairment and mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. Currently, she is deeply immersed in research, with a specific focus on the well-being of bereaved dementia caregivers, and a keen interest in topics related to social connection and insomnia. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, bouldering, spending time with friends, and exploring various coffee shops in the Valley. Particularly, she loves and highly recommends the Songbird Coffee & Tea House in Phoenix, Arizona.
