Long Bio
Alex Colson (they/them) is a fourth year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Arizona State University. Their research interests include interpersonal and sociopolitical trauma and stress, resilience and healing, and creative expression among trans and nonbinary people. As a therapist, Alex takes an emotion-focused, relational and cultural approach in their work with college students and people who have a "serious mental illness" designation. They also enjoy being involved with teaching and mentorship.
