Edwin is a PhD student in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning. His research interests focus on urban climate, urban morphology, spatial analysis, and energy efficiency in the urban environment.
Edwin holds a Masters’ degree in Urban Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos at São Paulo, Brazil where he studied the relationship between Urban Heat Island, Population Density, and Urban Form at the neighborhood scale. Prior to his research work and studies, Edwin was trained as an Architect at La Salle University in Bogotá, Colombia, where he practiced as a construction manager for retail and office buildings projects.
