Michelle Welker leads the Office of Data Strategy at ASU's Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Her responsibilities include supporting MLFC faculty and staff in their research and improvement efforts, using data to answer questions about how to best support students, and providing regulatory and other recurring and ad hoc reporting. She is committed to continual improvement, focused on turning data into meaningful and actionable information, and dedicated to lifting and empowering others.
Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Program Evaluation and Data Analytics from ASU. Before coming to ASU in 2022, she worked in financial analysis, systems analysis, and technical product management. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, board games, and reading.
