Long Bio
Brad comes to us from the University of Washington, where he graduated with his B.S. in Astronomy and Physics. While at UW, he investigated the age and mass of supernova progenitors in nearby galaxies with Dr. Benjamin F. Williams. He also helped catalog cataclysmic variable star system in the Milky Way with Dr. Paula Szkody. Here at ASU, Brad is working with Dr. Sanchayeeta Borthakur to understand the gas around and between galaxies, known as the Circumgalactic Medium. He mainly focuses on the ionization processes which impact this gas.
