Long Bio
Brad comes to us from the University of Washington, where he graduated with his B.S. in Astronony and Physics. While at UW, his researched the age and mass of supernova progenitors in nearby galaxies with Dr. Benjamin F. Williams. Additionally, he helped catalog catalysmic variable star system in the Milky Way with Dr. Paula Szkody. Here at ASU, Brad is working with Dr. Sanch Borthakur to help understand the gas around and between galaxies, known as the Circumgalactic Medium. He also works with Dr. Evan Scannapieco to compare observations of the Circumgalactic Medium to different simulations to understand the dynamics of the medium from a theoretical point of view.
