Long Bio
Natalia Ali is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering program. Natalia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical & Biological Engineering and an undergraduate certificate in Sustainable Energy from Princeton University. Natalia’s research interests focus on the intersection between sustainable materials engineering and renewable energy. Natalia’s previous research focused on the structure-function relations of zeolites during acid-catalyzed synthesis of jet fuel range hydrocarbon precursors from biomass feedstocks. At ASU, Natalia plans to continue her investigation of zeolites and apply her previous research experience to new applications. Natalia is very excited to begin her research on sorbent synthesis here at ASU with the DREAM Lab and to be a part of the Sun Devil family!
