Long Bio
Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked with communities at the local, state and national level extending from nonprofit work, hospital systems, primary and higher education and state government. My work has centered around underserved, underrepresented, divested, uninsured and underinsured populations and is focused on building trusted relationships that create synergy but also focuses on building capacity for lasting change.
I have been working as a subject matter expert in the field of diabetes prevention since 2010 and was an early adopter of the National Diabetes Prevention Program. I have more than a decade of experience in scaling public health initiatives, including childhood obesity prevention and adult chronic disease programs. I have worked in all aspects of programming, from curriculum building and evaluation to quality assurance, marketing, recruitment, scaling and participant retention.
