Kate Devine is the Assistant to the Director of the School of Politics and Global Studies. Previously, Devine worked as the Program Coordinator for the Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars and the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Kate earned her masters degree in Human Rights and Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Colorado in International Affairs with minors in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Kate was also a scholar athlete on the UNC Women's Soccer Team. Her professional and academic background includes working with both domestic and international anti-human trafficking organizations.
