Elisabeth Williams is the Director of ASU's Project ECHO, where she leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of virtual continuing education and telementoring programs for healthcare professionals across Arizona and the United States. Her work in Project ECHO focuses on strengthening the healthcare workforce through collaborative learning, community-academic partnerships, and cross-system approaches that improve access to high-quality care.
Her research has explored vaccine uptake among refugee communities, emerging trends in synthetic opioids and counterfeit pharmaceuticals, and innovative approaches to continuing medical education. Throughout her career, she has implemented and adapted community-based public health programs for diverse populations and collaborated extensively with healthcare professionals across Arizona to address emerging and persistent health needs.
