The Undergraduate Internship Coordinator works with CAP faculty and students to coordinate internships for the CAP 484 Internship course. This support includes:
Assistance and coordination of creating and sustaining partnerships with counseling/mental health internship sites across the U.S.
Ensuring sites and internship activities align with the course requirements
Tracking each student's progress towards course enrollment Creating Student Placement Agreements between internship sites and ASU
Acting as a liaison between internship sites and ASU Office of Clinical Partnerships to complete Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) documents
Tracking and filing student deliverables
Addressing any needed changes to deliverables in order to meet CAP requirements
Assisting faculty with addressing concerns that arise during student internships as needed.
