I started my college journey at Phoenix College for the first two years, which took about 5 for me and my indecisive self. I started as a biology major when I was 18; I switched my major after two years of chemistry changed my mind. That's an awkward sentence. I took a 15-year break and went back a few years ago. I took some classes over, of course, but I had a lot of core classes out of the way. I would retake English, though, because I love to write, and that's all you do in that class if I remember correctly.
I make beaded and wire-wrapped jewelry on the side, though it's hard to work it in with the studying, this requires. I love animals, nature, and children. I currently work with children on the spectrum (autism), and it's a wonderful job, I have to say. The children are all so unique but usually happy and respond well to positive reinforcement. I do what is called Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA therapy, and that is what I (think) I want to do with my education--get more education and become a BCBA or a special ed teacher, or both. So, as of writing this bio, I'm halfway through my bachelor's degree.
