Pauline Wambua received her Ph.D. in Education Policy (with a Graduate Specialization in International Development) and Master of Public Policy from Michigan State University. She also holds a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Her teaching and research interests focus on education development in African contexts, particularly inequalities of access and learning, education policy, and policy analysis.
Pauline has robust experience in mixed methods and quantitative methods. She has led and co-led domestic and international research projects, analyzed data from qualitative and qualitative data from large projects, and supervised multiple research teams. In the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program e-Learning Initiative, Pauline is part of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning activities. Specifically, she coordinates with co-implementing partners and participating institutions on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
